Palais Garnier
Palais Garnier is one of the most beautiful opera houses in the world. This grand building is a masterpiece of architecture, with its ornate ceilings, golden details, and marble staircases. It’s famous for inspiring The Phantom of the Opera and is still home to incredible opera and ballet performances. Whether you take a guided tour or simply admire it from the outside, Palais Garnier is a stunning sight.

Ponte Luís I
The Ponte Luís I (Dom Luís I Bridge) is one of the most famous landmarks in Porto, Portugal. This impressive iron bridge spans the Douro River, connecting the city of Porto with Vila Nova de Gaia, where the famous port wine cellars are located. The bridge was completed in 1886 and was designed by a student of Gustave Eiffel, so it has a similar look to the Eiffel Tower, with its beautiful iron arches and strong structure. The bridge has two levels—the upper level is used by the city’s metro and pedestrians, while the lower level is for cars and also has a walkway. Walking across the top level gives you one of the best views of Porto, with red rooftops, church towers, and the river below. It’s especially magical at sunset, when the whole city lights up in golden colors. The Ponte Luís I is more than just a bridge—it’s a symbol of Porto’s charm, engineering skill, and history.

Statue of Andersen
The Hans Christian Andersen Statue in Copenhagen is more than just a tribute—it’s a celebration of one of the world’s greatest storytellers. Located near the City Hall Square, this bronze statue depicts the famous Danish author seated with a book in hand, as if he’s about to share one of his timeless fairy tales. Unveiled in 1965, the statue captures Andersen’s thoughtful expression and storytelling spirit, making it a fitting homage to the man behind classics like The Little Mermaid, The Ugly Duckling, and The Snow Queen. Surrounded by the vibrant energy of Copenhagen, it’s a wonderful spot to pause, reflect on his literary legacy, and take in the charm of the city that inspired so many of his stories.
